Services & Technology

We provide comprehensive eyeglass and contact lens eye exams, high-quality eyewear fittings, and frame adjustments. Our advanced diagnostic equipment ensures your prescription and eye health are handled with precision.

The eyeglass eye exam is free with the purchase of glasses. Without insurance or eyeglass purchase, the cost of the eye exam is $77*. *Exam pricing may vary. Visit or give us a call for more details. Eye exams are provided by Digital Optometrics. Same Day Optical does not perform eye exams.

A contact lens exam typically costs $117* and includes prescriptions for both contacts and glasses, and a free pair of trial lenses. *Exam pricing may vary. Visit or give us a call for more details. Eye exams are provided by Digital Optometrics. Same Day Optical does not perform eye exams.

Since we operate an on-site optical lab, many single-vision prescriptions can be completed same day, often within hours. Complex lenses may take a bit longer. Your dispensing specialist will give you an accurate estimate at the time of your visit.

There are two parts to your eye exam. The prescreening tests provide the doctor with a comprehensive assessment of your vision health and screens for more serious eye conditions. The Acuities and Refraction portion of the exam measures for your eyeglass and/or contact lens prescription. For more information, feel free to contact the store at (209) 622-0282.

We typically do not dilate your eyes because the doctor can see the back of your eye by looking at your retinal scan. For more information, feel free to contact the store at (209) 622-0282.

We offer eye exams to patients as young as 8 years old. See store for details or contact us directly at (209) 622-0282.
